Hello from the MALSCE Convention Committee,

We’re holding the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE) annual convention on September 23-24, 2011 at the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis, Massachusetts.

The Convention features three tracks of seminars this year: Land Surveying, Civil Engineering and Geographic Information Systems.  On Friday, we are dedicating our schedule to our exhibitors and vendors; we will be drawing our Friday speakers from their ranks.  On Saturday, we’ll have a full schedule of speakers and seminars.

Friday evening features our annual auction followed by a casino night; both events benefit the MALSCE Education Trust.  We will be seeking volunteers from our own ranks to be dealers, so if you want to be on the winning side, sign up when we call for you!

Patrick Chura, the author of Thoreau the Land Surveyor, joins us on Friday as our keynote speaker.  He will also be selling and signing copies of his book.

Hope to see you on September 23 and 24!
