NOMINATIONS FOR SURVEYOR OF THE YEAR

Dear MALSCE Member:

MALSCE annually recognizes a professional land surveyor who has provided outstanding leadership for the profession with its Surveyor of the Year Award.  Nominations are requested from the membership each August.  The Surveyor of the Year Committee, comprised of the five previous winners, reviews the nominations and makes the final selection.  MALSCE attempts to make the award a surprise and does not notify the recipient of his/her selection in advance.

The MALSCE Awards Committee requests that you furnish the name(s) of any individual(s) you feel the committee should consider as a recipient of the 2012 MALSCE Surveyor of the Year Award.  Past recipients of this award listed online at http://www.malsce.org/index.cfm?pid=10418. The award will be presented at the MALSCE Convention on September 21, 2012 at the Holiday Inn, Mansfield, MA.  Please print out and complete the nomination form  (will open in a separate window in word) and return it to MALSCE Awards Committee c/o The Engineering Center no later than Friday, August 24, 2012. Email as an attachment to malsce@engineers.org or fax to: 617/227-6783 or mail or deliver  TO:

A past recipient is not eligible to win again. Nominees must be current MALSCE members.

The committee – Mary Ellen Streeter, Gary Gauquier, Richard Gosselin, and I -- will review all nominations and determine a recipient by ballot vote.
