Objectives:
This seminar will cover a wide range of functionality within the Carlson Civil software program including Surfaces, Road Design, Site Design, and Storm Drain Design.  Also covered will be some of Carlson's powerful drawing and editing tools, and much more.

Existing Carlson users - come see what's new and brush up your skills. New users or anyone considering a move to Carlson Civil - this session will show you what Carlson Civil is all about and you'll leave with a solid foundation ready to build on.
 
Seminar Speakers
Gary Rosen  is Carlson Software's Regional Civil Sales Director for New England, and Regional Sales Director for Canada.  Gary has 30 years experience working in the civil engineering / land
surveying professions, 22 of those with CAD, and 4 with Carlson.  Over the years, Gary has done many training seminars with MALSCE as Professor Landnut, and now returns to help you hone your Carlson skills.
 
Todd Carlson  is the Construction Product Manager for Carlson Software handling product development, training, and technical support for Carlson's Takeoff and Construction office software packages.

Registration fees are $150/person for MALSCE members and $200/person for non-members. Members of CALS, MSLS NHLSA, NYSAPLS, RISPLS and VSLS can attend this seminar for the member rate. Registration fee includes two snack breaks, lunch, and all seminar handouts. Attendance is limited to 24 people. Registration is processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Continuing Education
This seminar is worth 5.5 professional development hours, excluding NY and FL. All seminar participants will receive a certificate documenting attendance at the end of the seminar. Driving Directions - from the south:
Take I-495 North to Exit 19. Turn right at the bottom of exit (Route 109 East). Travel about 0.4 mile, and turn left BEFORE Medway Lotus Restaurant onto Clark Street. Proceed on Clark Street for about 1.7 miles (Clark Street turns into South Street) until you get to stop sign. Turn right onto Route 16 East. Turn right into Hopping Brook Park, (100 yards on the right). 125 Hopping Brook Road is first building on the right.
 
From the north: Take I-495 South to Exit 19. (Exit 19 is three exits south of the Mass Pike.) Turn right at the bottom of the exit. Go to the first traffic light & turn right on Beaver Street (Burger King on the right). Proceed to the next traffic light and turn right (less than a mile) on Route 16 East. Pago Pago Restaurant is on your right on the corner. Hopping Brook Office Park is approximately 2 miles east on Route 16. 125 Hopping Brook is the first building on the right.  A map and directions are available at  www.newwa.org.
