This wide-ranging informative discussion is a must for surveyors. Surveyors are the critical component of any transaction involving land, whether it is a conveyance, a zoning application, or litigation over an easement, boundary, or public way.  Learn about recent legal interpretations of surveys by Massachusetts courts to better understand how your survey defines rights and creates value.  Explore the elements of legal claims involving surveyor negligence and misrepresentation to insulate yourself from risk.

Mr. Cetlin's areas of practice include commercial real estate, commercial leasing, real estate financing and general real estate.  He represents buyers, sellers, commercial landlords and tenants, developers and lenders.
Denise A. Chicoine
Englander, Leggett & Chicoine PC  
Ms. Chicoine has significant experience litigating disputes involving rights in the intertidal zone and beach access claims, easements, construction disputes, conveyancing, Chapter 91 and zoning matters.  
Margaret G. DeLanders
Cunningham, Machanic, Cetlin, Johnson, Harney & Tenney, LLP
Ms. DeLanders, areas of practice include real estate financing, foreclosure, REO and general real estate.  She represents buyers, sellers, and lenders. She is an approved agent for most of the major title insurance companies in Massachusetts.

Mr. Delaney has concentrated his practice in the field of real estate, including real estate conveyancing, real estate development and real estate litigation.  Mr. Delaney holds an appointment as an examiner from the Land Court.

Mr. Pill's law practice concentrates on land use (zoning, subdivision control, wetlands, rural water supply and sewage disposal), and real estate litigation. Litigation work includes cases on title to land, easements, private restrictive covenants, public land use restrictions, private nuisance, trespass, adverse possession, boundary disputes, surveyor malpractice, and status of roads as public ways.
