Licensed Land Surveyor - Coastal Marine Construction

Our firm is looking for a land surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in land surveying, mapping, and boundary determination. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field surveys, analyzing data, and creating detailed reports. We are looking for a professional with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate surveying instruments and equipment to measure angles and distances.
• Analyze survey data to determine the shape, contour, location, elevation, or dimension of land or land features.
• Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.
• Prepare sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
• Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas.
• Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
• GPS positioning experience
• Topcon Solutions experience

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Boston, MA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 4 years

License/Certification:

• Driver's License
• Surveyor License
