Charles Anderson served many years as Chief Engineer of the Massachusetts Land Court.  He was always particularly helpful to young surveyors just starting out doing land court surveys and plans.  He showed foresight in that he would gladly review your work and answer your questions before you finalized your plans quite a good many years before "Pre Filing Review" became a requirement of the Land Court.

Llewellyn Schofield also worked some years ago at the Land Court, but was also a member of the Board of Registration for over 20 years.  During his term on the Board there was good communication with MALSCE.  He was instrumental in advocating for passage of the law to require the first Land Surveyor member of the Board.  Mr. Schofield was a MALSCE Past President.
